Those fortunate to have met Oskar were saddened when they heard that he had passed on. His health had been in decline for a while, and during the night, he died quietly in his bed.
Oskar was Ann Floyd's faithful furry friend until her death in December of 2oo6. He then moved into the Wallis residence where he joined the other critters who would sleep on the furniture while their "masters" spent long days at work.
Oskar was an active member of the NMMS Editorial Committee, and some will be surprised to learn that he did his share of typing NMMS' monthly newsletter, Mycorizon. We still miss his clever editorials and subtle wit.
After the season warmed a bit, family and friends gathered to reuinite Oskar & Ann, releasing their ashes in a place Anne loved.
