Forays Fairs & Festivals

.
NMMS Annual Foray
* 22-25 August 2o13
* Pagosa Springs, CO
. The NMMS Foray Committee thanks those who have already registered for this year's gathering in Pagosa Springs. There are only about 20 people signed up so far, so it's looking as though this may be a very intimate Foray.
. The South San Juan Mountains have already received some of the nice July rains, and we can hope for more in the next few weeks. This Foray will provide an wonderful opportunity to visit southern Colorado and learn from Mycologists Jay Justice and Clark Ovrebo.
. Registration Deadline is August 7th, which is less than a week away, so if you plan to attend, it's time to reserve your room in Pagosa and mail your check and reservation form.
* Foray Details, Lodging Information, and Registration Form are available at MycoWest.net/Foray

NMMS Field Trips

. After extensive Forest closures in June, the generous July rains prompted folks to head for the hills in search for all things fungal and fruiting. NMMS had a couple of organized field trips during July and may have more in the days and weeks ahead.
. NMMS Members can read about these past excursions and check for future outings by logging into the NMMS Members Forum (www.newmexicomyco.org) and selecting "Field Trips" from the top menu.
