NMMS Annual Foray - Registration Closed

The NMMS Foray Committee set a limit of 50 participants for this year's Foray. As of July 20, that limit was met and Foray Registration closed. On July 31st I sent a confirmation email message to all those who have registered for the Foray.

NMMS Meetings

The next NMMS meeting will be this coming Tuesday evening (Aug 5) 7:00 pm at the NM Museum of Natural History in Albuquerque.

Speakers:
* To help refresh members' ID skills before the upcoming Foray, past NMMS president Mark Kalin will present the program on Helpful Recognition Features for NM Mushrooms.
    Reminder - The HRF slideshow is available on the . NMMS Members' Forum.
* With the mushroom season upon us and the Foray in a few weeks, Terri Wallis will offer a brief talk on Mushrooming and Forest Safety.
* After enjoying John Trestrail's presentation at the June meeting, attendees should have received a Mushroom Quiz to complete at home. At the upcoming meeting, NMMS VP Chris Enright will reveal the answers to that Quiz.

Meetings later this year will be
* September 7th in Santa Fe
    and
* November 11th in Albuquerque
