The June meeting will be at 7:30 on Thursday, the 20th, at
the Natural History
Museum.
NMMS will have this year's foray in Las Vegas on August 22-24 with mycologist Steve Trudell from Seattle. The fee is $85, which covers registration and 8 meals at the Plaza Hotel (dinner Thursday, Aug 22nd through breakfast Sunday Aug 25th). Hotel rates are $57, $62, & $75 per night. Room reservations are the individual's responsibility. Motels and camping are available; information will be sent with registration acknowledgement.
I would like to thank those members who have sent me recipes for the newsletter. George Rodgers sent a couple which look promising. One for stuffing I will save for later this year. About the other, included below, George stated, "The morel receipt is from the 'Curious Morel,' by Larry Lonik. I find immitation crab meat works just fine and three egg yolks is about right."
