  • Vera Evenson is the Curator of the Denver Botanic Gardens' Herbarium of Fungi and author of Mushrooms of Colorado and the Southern Rocky Mountains.
  • Dr Steven Miller had hoped to join us this year, but other responsibilities prevent his participation. We look forward to his visiting us in the future. (Dr. Miller is an Associate Professor of Botany at the University of Wyoming, and has a diverse knowledge of fungi.)

  • $110 per person  (includes 7 meals: Fri breakfast-Sun breakfast)

    Dinner at Carlo's
  • After leaving the Foray site on Sunday (25aug02), we will head to Taos for the traditional Foray Dinner at Villa Fontana, which is just north of Taos on Hwy 522 (less than an hour's drive from the Foray site).
    We have not determined the exact time, so for now we'll say mid-afternoon. Cost will be somewhere around $45 per person, which will include tax & gratuity.
  • Notes:
  • There are several good collecting areas nearby in the Santa Fe and Carson National Forests.
  • Many of the facilities we'll be using at Sipapu are up one or two flights of stairs.
